Writer's Block: Obama drama

How do you think President Obama is doing so far? If you're an American citizen, would you vote the same way (whether for or against)? If you're not, what's your take on Obama's performance? Did his State of the Union address sway your opinion in any way?

I think he is on the right track. I am not an American Citizen, but it has become increasing and painstalkinly obvious that he is being given all that crap because of his skin color. He has been in the office for aproximately one year (give or take) and already other countries are viewing the US in a new light. You can't expect him to work an abra-cadabra-everything-is-fixed-and-well kind of mandate, when he has a lot of people, namely Senators and whatnot's, wanting him to fail. He still has to keep working, towards the betterment of the opinion the world has about the United States, and most importantly, he still has to keep working for the betterment of his nations needs. But you should really give him time.

He's Not Even Black
His African great-grandfather was a king. His kingdom was called Kobama, and it is still there, and a relative of Obama's may still be king there, or whatever they call royalty in the Republic of Kenya.

The only involvement that this boy's African family had with the slave-trade was on the supply side.

The European side of his ancestry probably includes more slaves and more recently than the African side.

Re: He's Not Even Black
Very Enlightening. Thanks for the supply of the unknown data, that is not of public domain. In the US, people might have a quarter of "european blood" running thru their veins, but if their skin is black, they are called African American.

People from the US, tend to generalize and to stereotype using something as stupid as skin color. You can go to any of the so called "red neck states" and you can ask them what is President Obama's race and they will tell you that he is BLACK!

Refering to another part of your post, i really want you to point out to me in what part of my post i mentioned the word SLAVERY. The only thing I said is that repercussions and opinions wouldn't be so loud and repetitive if he were of white skin.

You're forgetting that people voted FOR Obama based on his skin color. How is that not racist?? I have constantly heard people say they voted for him because he's black. Obama has even called himself black.
