Writer's Block: Mother Monster returns

In three words, how would you describe Lady Gaga?
Irreverent, otherwordly and plain strange.

Writer's Block: Bon appétit!

My perfect meal would consist in a big plate of spanish paella, some plantain fritters (it's a dominican thing), lettuce and tomato salad with some lemon and sal dressing. The perfect dessert would be a chocolate cake with nutella filling!!!!!

That would be my personal piece of heaven right there!!!!!

Writer's Block: Passing the time

What's your favorite thing to do on long car rides?

Listen to music. Or just getting myself lost on memories....

Discoveries

This has been one of the most enlightening years of my very short life. It  had changes, after changes after changes..... It started off decent but then it turned to crap, and then i feel like it's finally back on track. I try to live my life to the fullest.

Of course, there are things that i have always wanted, that somehow i think it might never be. The year is not over yet, but to me it feels like forever. I have realized so many things and at the same time, it feels like i'm just beginning to understand what i need to do, who is real, who is not, who is going to be there....

I don't trust easily,  but that is because life has taught me that you have to very careful who you open up to. You have to look out for yourself. Somebody once told me "Don't expect anything from no one. You'll end up disappointed."  In these months, the true meaning of that phrase hit the nail right in the head.

I expected too much and i ended up with heartbreak and pain, coming from people who I considered friends. I feel like a fool, believing that things were different, but they weren't .

Writer's Block: Star-crossed

Have you ever secretly loved someone you shouldn't have? If so, did you confess your feelings? Any regrets either way?

It wasn't love. It was more like a passing fancy. No I didn't confess because I realized that this person wasn't the one for me. I have always believed that there is someone out there that completes you in every possible way. I am not saying that you should just sit and wait for that person to get to where you are. You have to be out there, cause you never know when and where you might him/her.

Pissed Off...

Why is it that every frikking time you are trying to work in a decent place, someone just likes to pull the carpet under you and be just a pain in the ass?.  I seriously don't get what the hell is wrong with people these days. You can't do a single thing without having your personal broadcasting system shout out to the world, the things you are doing wrong?

And what is really lame is the fact that no one asks about the work you are doing and automatically assumes that you aren't doing anything. Would it kill to ask if you are actually working and not assume things just because you don't see any work being done?

Writer's Block: Obama drama

How do you think President Obama is doing so far? If you're an American citizen, would you vote the same way (whether for or against)? If you're not, what's your take on Obama's performance? Did his State of the Union address sway your opinion in any way?

I think he is on the right track. I am not an American Citizen, but it has become increasing and painstalkinly obvious that he is being given all that crap because of his skin color. He has been in the office for aproximately one year (give or take) and already other countries are viewing the US in a new light. You can't expect him to work an abra-cadabra-everything-is-fixed-and-well kind of mandate, when he has a lot of people, namely Senators and whatnot's, wanting him to fail. He still has to keep working, towards the betterment of the opinion the world has about the United States, and most importantly, he still has to keep working for the betterment of his nations needs. But you should really give him time.

Writer's Block: Help Haiti

Are you planning to support relief efforts in Haiti? For those of us who aren't in the medical field and who don't have a lot of money, what are some creative ways to get involved and make a real difference?

Just do whatever you feel like. Donate bottled water, canned foods, medicines, clothing. Take a minute of your time and text to help the American Red Cross. Do canned food rallies, contact your local church. Everything you do, even if it a little thing, will help them get thru these times.

Writer's Block: Agree to disagree

Have you ever stopped being friends with someone over differences in political views? Are there any issues that are so important to you that you cannot be friends with someone who holds a contrary opinion?
I wouldn´t do that simply because everyone is entitled to their own opinion over any given topic. Yes, there will always be touchy subjects with people, like religion, homosexuality, politics, etc, but that doesn't mean that you have to become enemies with someone that has a diferent opinion about something.

If that were the case, people would never have friends or even relationiships.

LIFE II

Been thinking about anything and everything at the same time!
